Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess each patient using the nursing process and create individualized plans of care
• Implement and evaluate treatments and interventions with clinical confidence
• Administer medications and perform treatments accurately and safely
• Provide clear, compassionate patient and family education from admission through discharge
• Document thoroughly, concisely, and legibly to support continuity of care
• Notify physicians of pertinent observations and changes in patient status promptly
• Direct and delegate role-appropriate tasks to co-workers to ensure smooth team care
• Ensure equipment and supplies are available and report any malfunctions
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives to elevate patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio RN license (required)
• Current CPR certification (required)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (required); BSN preferred
• Previous emergency nursing experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work collaboratively
• Demonstrated critical thinking and the ability to make independent decisions
• Familiarity with AIDET and TeamSTEPPS is a plus
• Ability to meet medium physical demands of the role

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Clear, accurate documentation and clinical charting
