Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess each patient using the nursing process and create individualized plans of care
- Implement and evaluate treatments and interventions with clinical confidence
- Administer medications and perform treatments accurately and safely
- Provide clear, compassionate patient and family education from admission through discharge
- Document thoroughly, concisely, and legibly to support continuity of care
- Notify physicians of pertinent observations and changes in patient status promptly
- Direct and delegate role-appropriate tasks to co-workers to ensure smooth team care
- Ensure equipment and supplies are available and report any malfunctions
- Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives to elevate patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio RN license (required)
- Current CPR certification (required)
- Associate Degree in Nursing (required); BSN preferred
- Previous emergency nursing experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work collaboratively
- Demonstrated critical thinking and the ability to make independent decisions
- Familiarity with AIDET and TeamSTEPPS is a plus
- Ability to meet medium physical demands of the role
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

- Clear, accurate documentation and clinical charting
