Shift Type: Night shift, 12-hour nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating schedule with every-other-weekend coverage (12-hour night shifts)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in the Behavioral Health unit
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and in accordance with hospital policy and state practice act
- Document patient care thoroughly and accurately according to standards of care
- Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care, including patient and family education
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support the patient’s longitudinal plan of care
- Provide clinical guidance and support to other units/departments as needed
- Participate in department performance improvement activities and shared governance
- Apply critical thinking to promote patient safety and escalate concerns through the appropriate chain of command
Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin RN license required
- Current CPR certification required
- Experience in Behavioral Health / Psychiatric nursing (demonstrated competence in medication administration and patient assessment)
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekend coverage
- Strong documentation skills and ability to develop individualized care plans
- Effective interdisciplinary collaboration and communication skills

- Behavioral Health nursing principles and psychiatric care

- Accurate clinical documentation and charting
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and care coordination
