Shift Type: Monday-Wednesday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Day, 12-hour shifts). Holidays required. No weekend shifts.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI exams, including general, stroke and trauma studies, with attention to detail and patient safety
- Prepare patients for scans, explain procedures clearly, and ensure comfort throughout the study
- Start IVs when required and manage contrast administration per protocol
- Operate GE 3T, GE 1.5T and Siemens 1.5T scanners and optimize protocols for diagnostic quality
- Use EPIC and Fuji Synapse PACS for accurate charting, image management and communication with the radiology team
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists and the care team during emergent stroke and trauma cases
- Maintain radiation safety practices and keep accurate documentation of procedures and quality control
Qualifications
- ARRT MR (Certified MRI Technologist) required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years MRI experience preferred
- Comfortable and competent starting IVs
- Experience with EPIC and Fuji Synapse PACS
- Experience with GE 3T, GE 1.5T and Siemens 1.5T scanners
- Must provide traveler radiation badge prior to start
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet a 60-mile radius requirement for credential submission
- Willingness to attend in-state orientation week even if some modules are remote
Education
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist or MRI program; Associate degree or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety and contrast administration
- Familiarity with stroke and trauma imaging protocols
- Proficiency in patient positioning and image optimization
- Comfortable navigating EPIC and PACS workflows like Fuji Synapse
- Good communication skills for working with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Troubleshooting skills for scanner-related issues and basic QC
