Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Transport patients safely and respectfully, matching assistance to each patient’s needs
- Use positioning aids and expert technique to produce high-quality CT images
- Operate CT equipment and all related imaging hardware with confidence
- Administer contrast media as ordered and assist with special CT procedures
- Protect patients through adherence to X-Ray Department policies and radiation safety
- Practice sterile technique and universal precautions to maintain a safe environment
- Maintain accurate radiology records and documentation according to departmental policy
- Clean and restock rooms after each exam to keep the workflow smooth
- Assist in training and mentoring radiology students and new staff
Qualifications
- Registered/certified CT Technologist required (ARRT registration required)
- BLS certification required
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiology technology training in an AMA-approved school
- Two years previous CT/radiology experience preferred
- Comfortable working a weekend day-shift block (Sat/Sun/Mon, 3x12s)
Education
- Completion of formal radiology technology training in an AMA-approved school (as stated)
- ARRT registration / CT certification
Knowledge & Skills
- CT imaging and equipment operation
- Contrast media preparation and administration
- Patient positioning and safe transport techniques
- Infection control: sterile technique and universal precautions
- Radiology recordkeeping and departmental documentation
- Room cleaning, restocking supplies, and maintaining a tidy workspace
- Training and mentoring students or junior staff
