Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in radiology with attention to image accuracy and patient comfort
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure proper documentation of studies
- Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to support timely, accurate diagnoses
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain exams clearly, and provide compassionate care
- Follow infection control, safety protocols, and departmental policies at all times
- Prioritize workflow and time management to help the department run smoothly during night coverage
- Assist with emergent imaging needs and adapt to changing clinical priorities
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound/sonography experience
- Registered or registry-eligible with ARDMS or ARRT (sonography) preferred
- State licensure as required by Florida regulations
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Strong clinical scanning skills and comfort working independently during night shifts
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-first attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or associate degree in related field
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven ability to perform abdominal, obstetric/gynecologic, small parts, and vascular sonography as needed
- Comfortable using PACS and electronic medical record systems for image/documentation management
- Solid understanding of imaging protocols, anatomy, and sonographic principles
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize in a busy hospital environment
- Compassionate patient care, including working with diverse populations and urgent cases
