Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging with attention to patient comfort and safety
- Position patients accurately and operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images
- Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to ensure timely, accurate results
- Maintain imaging equipment and follow strict radiation safety protocols
- Document procedures and maintain records in PACS/EHR systems with attention to detail
- Educate and reassure patients and families, making scans less stressful and more efficient
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CT/CT Technologist experience (as listed in the posting)
- Current ARRT (or equivalent) certification in Radiography/CT, or registry-eligible status
- State licensure/certification as required for Florida (applicable state credentials)
- Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Demonstrated ability to operate CT scanners, manage protocols, and work with PACS/EHR
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program (Associate degree or equivalent preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in computed tomography imaging and cross-sectional anatomy
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety principles and infection control practices
- Experience with PACS, DICOM workflows, and electronic medical records
- Excellent patient communication and positioning skills for diverse populations
- Detail-oriented documentation and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
