Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Day) with on-call 1-2 weeknights per week (call hours 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM), every 3rd weekend on 24-hour call (Fri-Mon), and holiday rotation every other holiday; rotating on-call responsibilities included
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub in for procedures and support the sterile field during a variety of cardiac and peripheral interventions
- Pan/activate fluoroscopy as needed to assist physicians and the team
- Perform IV starts and vascular access to support efficient patient care
- Operate and assist with specialized equipment including Philips Xper (Hemo) and Siemens C-Arm
- Assist with device cases such as IABP, Impella, temporary pacemakers and other device implants
- Support emergent revascularization and diagnostic procedures with calm, decisive action
- Communicate clearly with cardiology teams and respond to call within the expected response time
- Float to Heart and Vascular pre/post areas as needed to support patient flow
Qualifications
- BLS certification required
- RCIS certification required OR ARRT certification (if ARRT, must be registered with NDMIRT)
- If functioning in panning/fluoroscopy duties as ARRT, an active North Dakota Radiologic Technologist license is required
- Radiation badge must be supplied and in hand prior to start
- Minimum 1 year of relevant Cath Lab or cardiovascular procedural experience
- Comfortable with scrubbing or panning; panning-only experience is acceptable (majority of role is panning)
- Willingness to take scheduled call shifts and respond within the facility’s 20-minute response expectation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care cardiac cath lab with emergent cases
Education
- RCIS or ARRT credential required (ARRT must be registered with NDMIRT)
- No BSN required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with panning and activating fluoroscopy
- Scrubbing technique and maintaining a sterile field
- IV starts and vascular access skills
- Experience with EPIC charting system
- Familiarity with Philips Xper (Hemo) and Siemens C-Arm imaging systems
- Experience or exposure to IABP, Impella, Shockwave (preferred), Laser, IFR/FFR, IVUS, Rotapro
- Comfort with procedural manifolds and device setup (4-port manifold familiarity)
- Strong teamwork, communication, and ability to follow lead/charge direction
- Ability to manage emergent and diagnostic cardiac catheterization cases
