Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nursing personnel in delivering compassionate patient care
• Provide and document activities of daily living including personal hygiene and grooming
• Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment for patients
• Apply basic infection control procedures consistently to protect patients and staff
• Monitor and assist with basic nutrition and fluid intake
• Recognize and respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively
• Complete accurate documentation and communicate observations to the care team
• Support patient dignity, comfort, and mobility with respectful, professional care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• License/certificate verification required prior to start
• Up-to-date immunizations and health screening including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
• TB screening and annual TB questionnaire completion required
• VHC drug screen and health statement required
• Fit testing as required by assignment

Education

• CNA certification (required)
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care with a focus on activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Basic infection control principles and practices
• Documentation skills for accurate patient records
• Basic nutrition and monitoring fluid intake
• Emergency response awareness and prompt action
• Strong communication and teamwork with licensed nursing staff
