Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform timely and thorough patient assessments and vital sign monitoring
• Document patient status and care activities clearly in the medical record
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families about care plans and follow-up needs
• Respond to patient changes and escalate concerns to appropriate clinical staff

Qualifications

• Currently licensed LPN in good standing or eligible to obtain West Virginia licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications a plus
• Comfortable administering medications and following established care plans
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a night shift team
• Reliable, professional, and committed to patient-centered care

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN training program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with medication administration and accurate charting
• Skilled at patient assessment and vital sign interpretation
• Knowledgeable in infection prevention and basic wound care
• Ability to use electronic medical records and follow facility documentation standards
• Team-oriented with good clinical judgment and time management
