Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise individualized plans of care for assigned patients and families
• Provide direct patient care and oversee delegated nursing tasks safely and effectively
• Serve in a charge nurse capacity as assigned to coordinate patient flow and staffing
• Demonstrate clinical competence and apply specialty knowledge to improve patient outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support quality improvement initiatives
• Build and maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
• Complete required documentation, assessments, and reporting in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license with verification as required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Successful completion of VHC EKG exam as part of onboarding
• Ability to pass license/certificate verification, background check, and drug screen
• Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings as required (COVID-19 vaccine, TB testing, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, influenza)
• Experience in patient care management, delegation, and supervision is a plus
