Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise individualized plans of care for assigned patients and families
- Provide direct patient care and oversee delegated nursing tasks safely and effectively
- Serve in a charge nurse capacity as assigned to coordinate patient flow and staffing
- Demonstrate clinical competence and apply specialty knowledge to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support quality improvement initiatives
- Build and maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
- Complete required documentation, assessments, and reporting in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license with verification as required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Successful completion of VHC EKG exam as part of onboarding
- Ability to pass license/certificate verification, background check, and drug screen
- Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings as required (COVID-19 vaccine, TB testing, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, influenza)
- Experience in patient care management, delegation, and supervision is a plus
