Location: Marlinton, WV
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour nights; specific days to be confirmed with scheduling team)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients at the bedside
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, conditions, and progress
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the care team to implement care plans
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients and families to keep them informed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic charting system
- Support admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers
Qualifications
- Active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) in good standing
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willing to obtain
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Prior experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is a plus
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or equivalent)
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and basic patient care skills
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Infection prevention and control best practices
- Comfortable with electronic health record charting
- Good time management, prioritization, and teamwork
- Compassionate bedside manner and effective communication with patients and families
