Shift Type: Rotating nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (night shift); rotating schedule that includes every third weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to complex telemetry and hemodynamic data to keep patients safe
- Manage ventilators, high-flow nasal cannula, BiPAP/CPAP and advanced respiratory needs
- Administer and titrate critical drips and vasoactive medications with precision
- Care for patients with invasive devices including central and arterial lines, chest tubes, and post-procedure drains
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team during procedures like intubation, TEE/TTE and transvenous pacing
- Support ECMO, CRRT, Impella and IABP management when needed, following unit protocols
- Document thoroughly in Sunrise EMR to maintain continuity of care and clear communication
- Provide compassionate education and support to patients and families during high-acuity events
Qualifications
- Current RN license (ability to obtain NH license or hold compact privilege as applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant ICU/PCU/Telemetry nursing experience
- Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
- Prior experience with mechanical ventilation, critical drips and advanced cardiac devices preferred
- Comfortable with high-acuity populations including post‑open heart, ECMO and device-supported patients
- Strong teamwork, assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN); BSN preferred where available
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- ICU nursing fundamentals and progressive care experience
- Sunrise EMR documentation
- Mechanical ventilation and respiratory support (high flow, BiPAP/CPAP)
- Management of central/arterial lines and chest tubes
- Familiarity with ECMO, CRRT, Impella and IABP care
- Peri-procedural care including intubation, TEE/TTE and thoracentesis
- Critical medication administration and titration of vasoactive drips
