Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for PCU and burn/reconstructive patients with compassion and precision
• Monitor telemetry and cardiac/stroke patients closely and respond promptly to clinical changes
• Perform dressing changes and wound care using evidence-based techniques
• Document all patient care and assessments accurately in Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about condition management, procedures, and discharge planning
• Maintain unit safety and adhere to unit guidelines and policies

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Minimum 1 year of RN clinical experience (per job posting)
• BLS certification is required
• Experience in PCU, Telemetry, Med-Surg, or burn care strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Meditech or similar EMR systems
• Able to work night shifts and a rotating schedule, including every other weekend
• Independent, dependable, and strong clinical judgment

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Cardiac and stroke patient care
• Dressing changes and wound management for burn/reconstructive patients
• Meditech EMR documentation
• Ability to manage patient ratios around 1:3-4
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
