Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the assigned unit
• Assess patient condition, monitor vitals, and respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
• Document patient care, observations, and interventions clearly and timely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatments, and discharge planning
• Support unit workflow during busy night hours and contribute to a positive team culture

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility to obtain RN licensure in New Mexico
• Experience as a Registered Nurse or recent clinical practice with relevant patient care
• Comfortable working 12+ hour night shifts and adaptable to fast-paced settings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate care across shifts
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and other facility-required certifications as applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical observation skills
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
• Ability to prioritize tasks, triage, and make sound clinical decisions
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient education techniques
