Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care consistent with LPN scope of practice and facility policies
• Administer medications, monitor vitals, and document patient status accurately
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to follow care plans
• Perform focused assessments and communicate changes in condition promptly
• Assist with patient education, discharge planning, and family communication
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (able to practice in New Mexico or compact/reciprocal licensure where applicable)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Travel nursing experience preferred but new-to-travel LPNs with strong clinical skills are welcome
• Recent clinical experience in a relevant setting (long-term care, rehab, med-surg, or similar)
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills

Education

• LPN diploma or equivalent vocational nursing program completion

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Comfortable with electronic health records and timely documentation
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient-centered care philosophy
• Familiarity with infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
