Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Day shift), 5x8-hour shifts; weekends and holidays as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate Siemens CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images for adult outpatients
- Prepare and administer contrast media and perform peripheral IV starts safely and professionally
- Perform a variety of CT exams including extremities, abdomen, chest, head/neck, spine, and vascular CTA
- Use advanced post-processing tools (3D rendering, MPR, ROI) to support radiologist interpretation
- Follow radiation safety and infection isolation precautions for patient and staff protection
- Document procedures, patient history and contrast administration accurately in the chart
- Float to different units within the OSU organization as needed and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Support patient-centered care with clear communication and compassionate attention
Qualifications
- Siemens CT experience required
- Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
- BLS certification required
- AART CT required (ARRT CT preferred)
- State radiologic technologist license required
- Experience with adult outpatient imaging and vascular CTA
- Comfortable starting peripheral IVs and performing venipuncture
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required per facility guideline
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with Siemens CT scanners and related workflows
- Contrast media preparation and administration
- IV start and venipuncture skills
- Radiation safety best practices
- Vascular CTA protocols and technique
- 3D rendering, maximum intensity projection and volume rendering
- Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region of interest (ROI) measurement
- Image display and post-processing software proficiency
- Ability to access ports and manage special procedure prep
- Strong patient communication and documentation skills
