Shift Type: Typically 3 nights/week to meet the 36-hour guarantee, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM NOC (overnight)

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to residents as an LPN or RN based on scope of practice
- Perform thorough assessments and document changes in condition promptly and accurately
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to create and update individualized care plans
- Support smooth transitions of care — admissions, discharges, and handoffs — with clear communication
- Advocate for residents’ needs and family communication to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring colleagues and modeling professional behavior
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted LPN or RN license (you’ll be placed in the appropriate role based on your license)
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a plus
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain per facility requirements
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a team-first attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN or RN program as appropriate)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in patient assessment and documentation with attention to detail
- Medication administration and understanding of common long-term care treatments
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced overnight environment
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and family communication
- Familiarity with electronic health records and charting best practices
