Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nursing staff by delivering compassionate, hands-on patient care
• Provide and document activities of daily living including personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility assistance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
• Use basic infection control practices to protect patients and coworkers
• Monitor and support nutrition and fluid intake, reporting concerns to nursing staff
• Recognize and promptly respond to emergency situations and call for help when needed
• Accurately complete required documentation to support care continuity
• Communicate effectively with the care team and families to support patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Successful License/Certificate Verification as part of onboarding
• Ability to meet the facility's personal health and immunization requirements (COVID-19 vaccine, TB testing, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Fit Test, Tdap, influenza, drug screen)
• Comfortable performing ADLs and basic patient care tasks with dignity and respect
• Dependable, team-oriented, and patient-focused attitude

• Basic infection control practices
• Understanding of nutrition and fluid intake monitoring
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
• Ability to recognize and respond to emergencies
