Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based ICU nursing care using assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
- Provide direct patient care and monitor hemodynamic status, recognizing and responding to changes quickly
- Communicate clinical changes and abnormal results clearly to physicians and the care team
- Lead patient and family teaching to support recovery and safe transitions
- Document care accurately in Meditech EMR and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and direct nursing personnel activities as needed
Qualifications
- Current and valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross)
- Current ACLS (AHA or Red Cross)
- Minimum 1 year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital; critical care experience preferred
- Meditech EMR experience
- Certifications such as NIHSS and DCI/BVP are required or highly encouraged
- Ability and willingness to float to units of competency
- Up-to-date immunizations and health screening per facility policy (MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hep B, TB testing, influenza, COVID-19 vaccine preferred)
Education
- Current state Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
- Skilled in applying the nursing process for complex ICU patients
- Experience with direct patient care in acute and critical care settings
- Comfortable documenting and navigating Meditech EMR
- Effective patient/family teaching and clear communication with physicians and team members
- Familiarity with Prime competency exams and specialty skills validation
