Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
- Administer medications and vaccines accurately and safely
- Perform routine assessments and document patient status clearly
- Collaborate with the care team to support individualized care plans
- Observe and report changes in condition promptly to ensure timely interventions
- Maintain infection control practices including up-to-date vaccinations
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential (state licensure as required)
- Must have COVID-19 vaccination and Influenza vaccination as documented
- Ability to pass a Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach
- Comfortable working in long-term care or assisted living environments
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program; high school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Foundational nursing skills for medication administration and wound care
- Basic assessment and vital signs monitoring
- Infection prevention and vaccine protocols
- Accurate charting and documentation practices
- Teamwork and clear communication with interdisciplinary staff
