Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support residents with mobility and transfers using safe techniques
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition promptly
• Assist nursing team with timely and accurate documentation of care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control policies
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families through respectful communication
• Participate in team huddles and contribute to a positive, collaborative culture

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
• COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations as required by facility
• Successful completion of a Trinity 10 Panel drug screen
• Willingness to undergo background checks and facility onboarding requirements
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but not mandatory
• Basic CPR/BLS certification preferred

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient-centered care and compassion for older adults
• Reliable ability to perform ADLs and assist with mobility safely
• Good observational skills and clear communication with nursing staff
• Familiarity with basic clinical documentation and charting
• Knowledge of infection prevention practices and PPE use
• Teamwork mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced care setting
