Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients in the cardiovascular laboratory
- Monitor and record physiologic and hemodynamic data continuously during procedures
- Assist physicians and the cardiovascular team during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Assess procedure room readiness and verify equipment functioning before cases
- Obtain and manage supplies and ensure inventory needs for each case are met
- Communicate patient condition clearly and continuously with physicians and the care team
- Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
- Complete required competencies, screenings, and documentation in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Active RN license with verification (Nursys/license verification as required)
- BLS, ACLS, and DCI/BVP certifications required
- Demonstrated skill in patient assessment and hemodynamic monitoring in the cath lab
- Ability to complete required Prime exams, skills checklists, and specialty testing
- Ability to meet health and screening requirements (drug screen, immunizations, TB, fit test, etc.)

- Patient care in surgical/cardiovascular environments
- Hemodynamic and physiologic monitoring
- Cardiovascular laboratory procedures and assistive techniques
- Equipment maintenance and supply management
- Strong communication and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Participation in quality and performance improvement initiatives
