Shift Type: Monday-Friday, day shifts: Monday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; Tuesday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Wednesday 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM; Thursday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; Friday 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM. No weekends or holidays.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort
- Monitor moderate sedation closely and respond quickly to changes in patient status
- Administer medications and IV therapies according to orders and best practices
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
- Provide patient and family education about pain management plans and follow-up care
- Ensure compliance with infection control, immunization, and screening requirements
- Participate in skills checks and competency assessments, including Trinity checklist items
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license (Illinois) — must be verifiable
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with moderate sedation in an outpatient or procedural setting
- Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist (per site requirement)
- Ability to pass license/certificate verification, Trinity drug screen and fit test
- Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy (COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, PPD/IGRA)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of pain management principles and sedation monitoring
- Skilled in IV medication administration and procedural support
- Proficient in patient assessment, triage, and post-procedure recovery
- Comfortable with electronic health record documentation
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Team-oriented approach with attention to safety and quality improvement
