Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility support to prevent falls and injuries
• Document resident care and communicate clearly with the care team to support care plans
• Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Engage residents with dignity and respect, promoting comfort and independence
• Collaborate with nurses and other staff to deliver high-quality person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification required (T-CNA or standard CNA accepted)
• Comfortable working a travel/contract assignment (13-week assignment: 2026-01-05 through 2026-03-30)
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass required background checks, drug screen, and health screenings
• Reliable transportation and willingness to relocate temporarily for the assignment
• Strong communication skills and a teamwork-minded attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and mobility support
• Proficient at taking and documenting vital signs
• Knowledge of infection prevention and resident safety practices
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Strong interpersonal skills—compassionate, patient-focused care
• Comfortable using electronic or paper charting systems
