Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care to geriatric patients, supporting dignity and independence
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting) with respect and sensitivity
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the care team promptly
• Support safe meal service and assist with feeding when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and infection control procedures
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver consistent, high-quality care

Qualifications

• Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification — your core credential for this role
• Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred (showing patience and empathy)
• Ability to pass required facility onboarding checks (background and health screening as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with resident personal care and ADLs
• Good observation and communication skills to report resident changes
• Familiarity with basic infection control and safety practices
• Ability to work well in a team and follow care plans
• Compassion, patience, and respect for older adults and their families
