Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to residents and patients, prioritizing safety and dignity
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document all care thoroughly
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the interdisciplinary team in a timely manner
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians and support staff to implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on care, medications and follow-up needs with clarity and empathy
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment while following facility policies and infection control practices
• Respond effectively to urgent situations and assist in emergency interventions as needed

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Maryland (or eligible for state licensure) required
• Clinical experience as an LPN in long-term care, acute care or similar setting preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willing to obtain
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass facility health checks
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program; additional education (ADN/BSN) welcomed for RNs

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Wound care, ADL assistance and basic clinical assessments
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and point-of-care charting
• Infection control, patient safety and fall prevention strategies
• Time management, prioritization and clear clinical handoffs
