Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with safe transfers, positioning, and mobility to promote patient comfort and dignity
• Perform routine clinical tasks such as vital signs, documentation, and basic wound care as directed
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control policies
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and family members to support individualized care plans
• Support a positive patient experience through empathy, communication, and professionalism

Qualifications

• T-CNA certification (Travel CNA) required
• Active CNA certification or state-approved nursing assistant credential
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
• Ability to work the assigned night shift schedule and adapt to a travel assignment
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• Completion of an approved CNA training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care practices and ADLs
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection prevention and safety procedures
• Good documentation and time-management skills
• Compassionate bedside manner and respectful communication
• Comfort working in long-term care or skilled nursing environments
