Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Operate CT equipment and follow scanning protocols for accurate diagnostic images
• Document procedures and patient information in EPIC in a timely, accurate manner
• Prepare patients for procedures, including screening for contraindications and verifying identifiers
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, safety checks, and infection-control standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and technologists to support efficient patient flow
• Complete required Prime competency exams and maintain licensure and certifications

Qualifications

• Valid CT license (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• DCI/BVP certification (required)
• License/certificate verification on file prior to start
• Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam
• Successful completion of required health screenings: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, TB testing, Varicella, Tdap, fit test, and a minimum 10-panel drug screen
• Professional, patient-focused demeanor and good communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Computed Tomography (CT) imaging and radiation safety best practices
• Experience with EPIC charting and electronic documentation
• Skilled in patient positioning, contrast screening/administration protocols, and imaging protocol selection
• Ability to function in on-call/per diem environments and respond reliably when scheduled
• Strong attention to detail for accurate image acquisition and documentation
