Shift Type: Per diem / As-needed 12-hour shifts. Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM; Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Schedule varies by week (day and night coverage; rotating as-needed)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality critical care to adult ICU patients, delivering safe, evidence-based nursing
- Assess, monitor and document patient status using EPIC accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to create and follow patient care plans
- Perform rhythm interpretation and respond to acute changes in patient condition
- Complete required competency exams, skills checklists and specialty assessments to maintain clinical readiness
- Maintain professional licensure and certifications and participate in unit-based quality improvement
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (verifiable via Nursys)
- Minimum 1 year of ICU / critical care nursing experience (explicit requirement)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- DCI/BVP certification as required by the facility
- Experience using EPIC for documentation and charting
- Ability to work 12-hour day or night shifts and to be flexible for per diem scheduling
- Willingness to complete Prime competency exams, skills checklists and required health screenings (vaccines, TB, drug screen, fit test)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical care and ICU nursing foundations
- Proficient EPIC documentation and charting skills
- Rhythm interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
- Comfort working 12-hour shifts and prioritizing multiple complex patients
- Familiarity with competency testing and skills validation processes
- Excellent communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
