Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult patients in a fast-paced setting
- Monitor and interpret complex hemodynamic data, recognizing and responding to changes
- Administer medications and advanced therapies in accordance with protocols and best practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
- Perform thorough assessments and document clinical findings accurately and timely
- Participate in required competency exams and skills validation to maintain clinical excellence
- Support safe transitions of care by communicating effectively with team members and families
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with Nursys verification
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS and DCI/BVP certifications required or current
- Critical care experience preferred; confident in managing high-acuity patients
- Completion of required Prime exams and skills checklist prior to start
- Ability to pass employer health requirements (drug screen, TB testing, immunizations, fit test)
- Professional, compassionate demeanor with strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN/BSN) required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical care nursing skills and clinical assessment abilities
- Knowledge of advanced cardiac life support protocols and emergency response
- Familiarity with NIHSS stroke assessment and DCI/BVP procedures
- Basic pharmacology knowledge and safe medication administration practices
- Proven ability to perform core competencies and specialty clinical procedures
- Effective communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration
