Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality direct ICU patient care using assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor hemodynamic status and communicate clinical changes to the medical team
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and treatment response
• Provide patient and family education while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality
• Collaborate with nursing staff and guide activities of other nursing personnel to uphold ICU standards
• Interpret diagnostic results and abnormal findings to support timely clinical decisions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (Nursys verification listed)
• Trauma and neuro ICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• DCI/BVP certification listed as required
• Demonstrated ability in hemodynamic monitoring and critical care nursing
• Comfort with Prime basic and specialty competency testing processes

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
• Rhythm interpretation (ECG) and Prime rhythm screening familiarity
• Critical care pharmacology knowledge
• Interpretation of diagnostic studies and abnormal results
• Patient and family teaching in high-acuity settings
