Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality telemetry nursing care to adult patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and acting promptly on changes
• Perform thorough assessments and document patient status and nursing interventions in EPIC accurately and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely, adhering to ACLS and BLS protocols
• Float to Med-Surg as needed, providing adaptable, patient-focused care across units
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and transitions
• Maintain required compliance documentation and complete credentialing tasks on schedule to continue assignment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential — license verification required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Experience and efficiency using EPIC is required
• Telemetry and Med-Surg experience required (per diem telemetry nursing background preferred)
• PALS and NRP certifications are a plus
• Ability to commit to a 26-week per diem assignment and meet minimum compliance deadlines
• Available to work on 08/12/2025 to qualify for this position

Education

• Active RN license required
• Nursing diploma, ADN, or BSN — acceptable credentials (BSN preferred but not strictly required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Solid Med-Surg nursing knowledge and safe clinical practice
• Proficient documentation and charting in EPIC
• Excellent assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking abilities
• Infection control, immunization, and health screening awareness
• Comfort working night shifts and adapting to variable staffing needs
