Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered telemetry nursing care to adult patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to rhythm changes and alarms
• Administer medications safely and accurately, following hospital protocols
• Document patient care clearly and efficiently in EPIC to ensure continuity of care
• Float seamlessly to Med-Surg when needed and adapt to varied patient acuity
• Maintain up-to-date certifications (BLS, ACLS) and complete credentialing on time
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advocate for patients and improve outcomes

Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of California (must provide license verification)
• Current BLS and ACLS required; PALS/NRP may be required depending on unit
• Comfortable and efficient using EPIC for documentation and charting
• Telemetry experience and ability to interpret cardiac monitoring
• Ability to float to Med-Surg and manage varied patient acuity
• Willingness to commit to the full 26-week per-diem assignment and meet compliance deadlines
• Must complete minimum compliance requirements by 2025-08-10 and full credentialing documents within two weeks of offer acceptance

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment for acute care patients
• Proficient electronic documentation in EPIC
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Infection control practices and immunization/compliance awareness
• Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced environments
• Ability to pass fit testing and standard health screenings
