Shift Type: Per diem Night shifts, schedule varies (Night; specific start/end times determined by unit and assignment)
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients continuously and use the nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Provide direct, high-quality telemetry nursing care, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in condition
- Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members about patient status and diagnostic results
- Deliver patient and family education to promote understanding, safety, and recovery
- Perform and document nursing interventions accurately and promptly in EPIC
- Coordinate and delegate tasks to support staff while maintaining standards of care
- Respond quickly and clinically to patient emergencies and changes in cardiac monitoring
- Maintain compliance with required competencies, specialty skills, and unit protocols
Qualifications
- Current, valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Telemetry and cardiac monitoring experience
- Ventilator management experience preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination required (per site health requirements); boosters preferred
- Ability to pass drug screen, fit test, TB testing, and required immunizations
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and clinical judgment in telemetry settings
- Care planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice
- Proficiency with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
- Strong patient education and communication skills
- Familiarity with EPIC documentation and workflows
- Teamwork, delegation, and leadership on the unit
- Infection control and critical care basics including ventilator awareness
