Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate patient care to adult and geriatric patients in the Cath Lab
• Monitor and record physiologic and hemodynamic data continuously during procedures
• Assist physicians throughout diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
• Assess and prepare procedure rooms and equipment to ensure readiness and safety
• Obtain and manage supplies for cases, maintaining inventory and equipment functioning
• Communicate patient condition and changes promptly and clearly with the care team
• Maintain sterile/surgical environment standards and assist with procedural needs
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality initiatives to enhance care
• Complete accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license (California) — license verification required
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• DCI/BVP required
• NIHSS required
• Demonstrated competency in rhythm interpretation and hemodynamic monitoring (Prime exams and skills checklist required)
• Must complete required health clearances: drug screen, TB testing, immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hep B, Influenza) and fit testing
• Comfortable working in a high-acuity procedural environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

• Cath Lab procedures and cardiovascular monitoring
• Hemodynamic monitoring and ECG/rhythm interpretation
• Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
• Procedural assistance in sterile/surgical environments
• Equipment readiness, maintenance, and inventory management
• Clear communication with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Telemetry monitoring and documentation best practices
• Performance and quality improvement principles
