Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality critical care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement and evaluate
• Provide direct patient care in the ICU and maintain accountability for assigned patients
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data and communicate patient changes to physicians
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and responses to treatment
• Guide and educate patients and families, promoting understanding and participation in care
• Direct and support other nursing personnel while maintaining ICU standards of care
• Maintain strict patient privacy and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (Nursys verification listed)
• Critical care / ICU experience (traveler role focused on critical care)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• DCI/BVP certification as listed in the posting
• Demonstrated skills in hemodynamic monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Completion of required screenings and competency checks (drug screen, immunizations, Prime exams)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and critical care decision-making
• Care planning, implementation and evaluation in the ICU setting
• Hemodynamic monitoring and recognition of abnormal findings
• Rhythm interpretation and basic pharmacology knowledge
• Clear, timely communication with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Patient and family teaching with compassion and clarity
• Commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality
