Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to patients, focusing on safety and dignity
• Administer medications and follow physician orders accurately and timely
• Perform focused assessments and promptly report changes in condition
• Document patient care thoroughly and professionally in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
• Support admissions, discharges and transfers to keep patient flow smooth
• Participate in infection control practices and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — must be eligible to practice in West Virginia
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
• Comfort with electronic charting and basic clinical equipment
• Professional attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding and background checks

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and bedside nursing care
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic wound care and monitoring
• Infection prevention and control
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
• Teamwork and time management in a fast-paced clinical setting
