Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function
- Document clinical progress clearly and timely in the patient record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
- Educate patients and families on home programs and strategies for long-term success
- Monitor patient response and adjust treatment plans based on clinical findings
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania or eligible for licensure
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team and communicating with patients and families
- Current immunizations and ability to pass standard background and health screenings as required
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master's or Bachelor's in Physical Therapy considered
- State PT license required or eligible
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in patient evaluation, therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy techniques
- Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and adjust care based on progress
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to educate patients and caregivers
- Familiarity with common outpatient and post-acute diagnoses and functional goals
