Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify communication and swallowing needs
- Develop personalized treatment plans and measurable goals to drive meaningful patient progress
- Deliver high-quality therapy using evidence-based approaches for a variety of diagnoses
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and families to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Document clinical findings, progress, and recommendations accurately and timely
- Provide education and training to caregivers and staff to support carryover of skills
Qualifications
- Active California license as a Speech Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain one
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent graduate degree
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred but not required if state-licensed
- Experience in post-acute or rehabilitation settings preferred
- Current basic life support certification and up-to-date immunizations and background checks as required by facility
Education
- Master of Science or Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assessment and treatment of expressive and receptive language disorders
- Experience with dysphagia screening and management principles
- Strong clinical documentation and goal-writing skills
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary rehab team
- Comfortable training caregivers and providing clear discharge recommendations
- Good time management and caseload prioritization skills
