Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Support safe transfers and mobility for residents, using proper body mechanics
• Monitor and document resident condition, including vital signs and behavioral changes
• Assist with meals and feeding support while honoring dietary guidelines and preferences
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and the care team
• Accurately document care and report changes to licensed nursing staff in a timely manner
• Contribute to a positive resident experience by promoting dignity and independence

Qualifications

• Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification — eligible for NH or VT assignments
• T-LNA training/certification noted as a plus
• Comfortable working the posted schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved LNA training program and active LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and safe patient handling techniques
• Proficient at taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Knowledgeable about basic infection control and safety practices
• Good documentation and time-management skills
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Familiarity with electronic charting systems is a plus
