Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to develop individualized, evidence-based physical therapy plans of care
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, function and quality of life
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as appropriate
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and case managers to coordinate patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families on home programs, safety and injury prevention
• Contribute to a positive clinic culture by mentoring colleagues and participating in team meetings

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in New Jersey (or compact privileges where applicable)
• Degree in physical therapy (DPT preferred) from an accredited program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; other certifications encouraged
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; experience in outpatient/rehab settings is a plus
• Ability to complete required credentialing and onboarding for a travel contract

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor's or Masters in related field with relevant experience accepted

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in musculoskeletal and functional mobility assessment
• Proficient with therapeutic exercise, manual therapy and modalities appropriate to plan of care
• Familiarity with EHR documentation and insurance/authorization processes
• Ability to prioritize caseloads and manage time effectively
• Patient-centered approach with strong interpersonal and teaching skills
