Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, days vary (12-hour overnight shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
- Assist with patient transfers, mobility, and safe positioning to promote comfort and safety
- Support nurses with procedures and treatments while maintaining patient dignity
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification valid in New Mexico (T-CNA designation acceptable)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
- Previous clinical experience preferred but enthusiastic new CNAs are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of infection control and patient safety principles
- Ability to measure and document vital signs and basic clinical observations
- Skilled in safe patient handling and mobility assistance
- Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
