Shift Type: Full-time — 3 × 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night shift), plus 2 on-call shifts per month
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, intensive end-of-life nursing care for patients in the inpatient hospice unit
- Perform thorough assessments and use critical thinking to manage complex symptoms
- Implement individualized care plans focused on comfort, dignity, and patient goals
- Educate and support patients and families, helping them understand care goals and feel confident in caregiving
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated physical, emotional and spiritual support
- Document care accurately and communicate changes in condition in a timely manner
- Serve as an on-call resource during assigned on-call shifts to support continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be valid for practice)
- Experience or strong interest in hospice, end-of-life care, or symptom management
- Comfort and competence working night shifts and participating in a monthly on-call rotation
- Excellent assessment skills, clinical judgment and critical thinking
- Compassionate communication skills for patient and family education and support
