Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients using the nursing process and create individualized plans of care
- Provide safe medication administration and perform treatments accurately
- Implement physician orders and coordinate multidisciplinary care
- Document assessment findings and care interventions with clarity and precision
- Supervise and delegate role-appropriate tasks to co-workers while ensuring quality
- Communicate promptly with physicians and the care team about patient status changes
- Educate patients and families from admission through discharge for better outcomes
- Use critical thinking to prioritize multiple patients in a fast-paced ED environment
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio nursing license required
- Current CPR certification required
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Previous emergency nursing experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to make independent decisions
- Comfort with delegation, supervision, and working in a dynamic team environment
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and clinical judgment in acute settings
- Care planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Safe medication administration and treatment delivery
- Accurate, concise documentation and charting
- Delegation and supervision of clinical tasks
- Critical thinking, prioritization, and time management
- Familiarity with AIDET and TeamSTEPPS communication tools
