Shift Type: Four 10-hour day shifts (exact start/end times vary by site) with rotating weekend on-call; day shift / rotating weekends
Hours per Week: 32
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality outpatient orthopedic and sports rehabilitation treatments that get patients back to the activities they love
- Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to integrate inpatient and outpatient care when needed
- Document progress clearly and efficiently in the facility electronic health record
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and return-to-activity plans
- Participate in rotating weekend call and assist with transitional care as required
Qualifications
- Current Colorado physical therapy license or eligibility to obtain state licensure
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent clinical degree preferred
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic, sports rehabilitation, and general rehab; some inpatient experience preferred
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and patient-education skills
- Professional, reliable, and able to work independently in a smaller mountain community
Education
- DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) preferred; or equivalent entry-level PT degree with active state licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Orthopedic manual therapy and therapeutic exercise prescription
- Sports rehab progression and return-to-sport planning
- Functional mobility assessment and gait training
- Familiarity with documentation practices and common EHR workflows
- Ability to triage and coordinate care across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient-centered care in a team setting
