Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) with dignity and compassion
• Provide safe and attentive mobility assistance and transfer support
• Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff promptly
• Take and record vital signs and follow care plans accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Document care and communicate effectively with the care team and families
• Support residents emotionally and socially to enhance their quality of life

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
• Valid Pennsylvania CNA certification (or ability to transfer/obtain) preferred
• Comfortable working day shift hours (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) in a long-term care / skilled nursing setting
• Ability to follow care plans, document accurately, and communicate clearly
• Compassionate attitude, reliability, and a team-player mindset

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and personal care techniques
• Basic vital signs monitoring and reporting
• Safe resident handling and transfer knowledge
• Infection control and hygiene best practices
• Clear verbal and written communication
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
