Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: PRN (per diem), Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Every Other Week coverage required; specific days vary based on facility needs)
Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, respectful assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Take and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition promptly
- Assist nursing team with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning safely
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Support a positive patient experience through courteous communication and teamwork
- Help set up and maintain patient rooms and supplies to ensure a comfortable environment
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable and experienced working night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required by facility policy
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care or a similar clinical setting preferred
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program and successful registry listing
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and ADLs
- Skill in measuring and recording vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with infection prevention and patient safety practices
- Effective verbal and written communication with patients and care teams
- Ability to follow care plans and report clinical observations clearly
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate care
