Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and resident behaviors, communicating changes promptly to nursing staff
• Support safe transfers and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
• Maintain accurate documentation and chart resident care clearly and promptly
• Follow infection control and safety procedures to protect residents and coworkers
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care and support resident dignity
• Assist with meal service and feeding support when needed, ensuring nutritional needs are met

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) in good standing
• Ability to work the evening/2nd shift schedule, 2:45 PM - 10:30 PM
• Comfortable assisting with personal care, mobility and transfers
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to complete facility-required health screenings, background checks and onboarding paperwork
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic nursing care and resident assistance
• Safe transfer and lifting techniques
• Charting and documentation best practices
• Infection prevention and control
• Effective, respectful communication with residents and team members
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
