Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing and mobility assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs and changes in condition accurately
- Assist nursing staff with daily tasks and follow care plans with attention to detail
- Support safe and comfortable mealtimes and medication reminders
- Communicate clearly with the care team and families to promote coordinated care
- Maintain a clean and safe environment while adhering to infection control practices
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Active authorization to practice in Maine or ability to obtain state certification
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and supporting a diverse resident population
- Basic life support or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Clear background check and up to date immunizations as required by facility
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed CNA program and active CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care fundamentals and hands on caregiving skills
- Good observation and documentation skills to track resident status
- Basic knowledge of infection prevention and safe transfer techniques
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Compassion, patience and the ability to stay organized during busy shifts
