Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and support their daily needs
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Safely assist with transfers and mobility to promote independence
- Observe, report, and document changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Support meal service, ensure residents are comfortable, and help maintain a dignified environment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful care environment for residents and visitors
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Class: CNA) — required
- Ability to obtain/maintain any state-required clearances and immunizations
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to resident care
- Prior CNA experience is a plus, but caring attitude and coachability matter most
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred

- Infection control and safe handling procedures
- Safe lifting and transfer techniques
